Currency Quotations and Conversion
To ensure precision in multi-cloud financial management, our platform processes cost data according to each provider's specific billing practices. We offer the flexibility to view your spending in US Dollars (USD) or Brazilian Real (BRL). This section can be accessed via the Settings (gear icon) in the top menu.
Since these providers already provide billing data in the customer's local currency, we capture it natively. To display values in Brazilian Real (BRL) on our dashboards, we use the official Central Bank (BC) exchange rate from the billing month to ensure standardization.
For these providers, we capture raw data in US Dollars (USD). The standard conversion is performed using the Central Bank (BC) exchange rate.
Manual Adjustment (Azure & OCI): We understand that corporate contracts may have negotiated or fixed exchange rates. Therefore, on the Currency Quote screen, you can manually enter the USD rate for Azure and OCI on a month-to-month basis. Once saved, this value will override the Central Bank rate for that specific period.
How to change: Go to the top menu, click the Settings (gear icon), and select Currency Quote. There, you can view the history and register the desired monthly quote to adjust your Azure and OCI costs.
